I am so HAPPY it is Spring and it feels like Spring!!
We were outside all day yesterday and most of the day today.
Becky came over to help me do some painting… well we tried to do some painting but the weather was too nice to be stuck inside….
she came running over to show me the little speck of dirt she got when she went down the slide.

When we went inside i was wondering where Laura and her friends were…well i found them outside doing this!
WHAT?????!!!!!!
I was NOT happy, i was actually really REALLY upset. (they found a mud spot in the neighbors yard)
you should have seen the shower,(and my bathroom!) i wanted to make them just use the hose,but i couldn’t bring myself to make them because our well water is sooo cold.
What do you do when you find your kids doing something like this? do you just let them because they are having fun?(it was about 68 degrees out,not warm enough in my book for this!)

what i made for lunch yesterday..the kids skipped school(missed bus) and i didn’t feel like cooking so this was perfect…and needless to say was devoured.

BABY SHOWER
this weekend was Chrissys baby shower..she is due next month and i can’t believe she is FINALLY going to be a mom.she has been able to watch my kids grow up and now is starting a family of her own,i am happy for her.
i have known Chrissy since the 6th grade,and was able to reunite with some childhood friends at her shower.
i am just going to put a bunch of pics so get ready…..
this basket was what i got her..stuffed full of goodies laura picked out the bear and bib.
she was hiding her belly with a sweater!!..
this is one of our friends Melinda holding Alaina.. she has 2 boys (Miles and Cole ) she wants a girl really bad…she held Alaina the entire time…i loved it cause i had some rare freedom.
i loved how all the girls were huddled around her waiting to see the gifts… isn’t it cute?
Laura didn’t want Chrissys stepdaughter Madison to feel left out so the bag with the puppies was for her…she was trying to give it to her at the same time Chrissy got to our basket of goodies,,(so sweet)

i was just in the kitchen with the kids making dinner and i hear Jonathan say..
“Laura i’m very very sorry i broke your jump rope”..
Laura said…”it’s ok Jonathan,accidents happen and it was just an accident”
then Jonathan said ” LAURA, I’m NOT an accident!”

i haven’t posted in a while,things have been crazy busy here…(and I have been sick again.)
it started with a runny nose,then over night it hit me real hard. i woke up feeling really sore on one side of my chest. i was curled up in bed all day yesterday shaking…i got up just long enough to take a hot shower.then was back to shaking again.
i went to see my doctor today and turns out i had a real bad case of mastitis..(not sure if thats how you spell it.)
i have only had it one other time with Jonathan and i thought it was because he wasn’t latching on right, which caused the infection.
(if you have had it,you can relate…if you have not had it,there really is no way to describe how it makes you feel…maybe the best to describe it is it’s like the flu,with body aches and fever, with chills, it literally knocks you out, not to mention the excruciating pain,like a hot knife stabbing you and twisting or something like that..OUCH!)
i really didn’t think i would have had this with Alaina,she nurses so well (as a matter of fact,we have been trying to get her to take a bottle just so we can have a night out to ourselves.she won’t have anything to do with it!) i do try to offer it at least once a day,but still she struggles with it.
anyhow,so the doctor gave me this strong antibiotic and hopefully within the next day or two,i will be up and functioning again.

We Have A New Addition!
we had some new additions to our family arrive today! we are still thinking of names.
we have friends that raise and sell new holland lops, she wanted to know if we wanted some(Of Course!) so i knew she was coming today to drop them off,but i didn’t tell the kids.i left it as a surprise…boy was it ever!
Jonathan has another cold (if you think he looks a little under the weather…)
so now all i hear is “can i hold bunny? please….what about now? please?” good thing they are friendly bunnies!
