i have been wanting to get our family pictures done soon.i never thought it was going to be so hard to plan a time to do it,my sister robin came over a couple of weeks ago to take some pictures and since then i have wanted to get it done. there is so much do the bigger the family as far as planning goes.(what to wear etc.) hopefully soon we will venture out and have it done professionally.

here are some pictures my sister robin took a couple weeks ago….

she is going to crop them,since it was her camera…for some reason my computer won’t let me make changes to them…i will keep trying to figure it out,i am sure there is a way.(do you know?) the computer says i need permission to make any changes.

they aren’t the best quality…robin just needed some to fill a frame for her wall. i am not sure which ones she chose,there were so many,and they all need some cropping… well gotta get dinner on the table, tah tah for now.

We are all better now. Laura was the last to get sick,AND she did so on the way back from her appointment on wednesday. yes in the car,on the highway. WAS NOT FUN. she lost it in a McDonalds bag,which did not hold. a good thing we have rubber mats in the van. so i pulled of the highway and dumped the mat,rolled it up,and stuck it in the back.( i begged her to hold off till we got home.she did,then was sick all night.)

there is nothing like enjoying a wendys frosty,then having the puke smell overtake the frosty.EEWWW

the kids felt so much better yesterday i took some pics of them messing around the playroom.

carter sure does have some interesting faces, scary sometimes.!

today when we go back from our sunday meeting, the kids got dressed to play in the snow. sienna was so bundled up,she fell backwards and landed on the floor, she couldn’t get up and so i grabbed the camera in my bag and snapped this picture.(she just sits in the sled while laura pulls her around,otherwise i would feel really bad for her.)

as far as the binky goes,we are still working on that. i think it would be too traumatic to take it from her right now,since we have a new baby.(any suggestions?)

here is my little sleeping chubby chunk.she still is tiny,but she is sure filling out!

tomorrow the kids don’t have school so i will be thinking of things to do for the day.(activities)

i am sure they will want to play outside part of the day,but what about the rest?

  ok,so i really didn’t want to get sick……..

 but i did. Last night was horrible!

i got the pukes, but mark didn’t take off work. he only had an hour left till he got out for 2 days. so i will be resting these 2 days and letting him help as much as possible.

i hope i am better by tomorrow,i have to take laura to her ear doctor to see what’s up with the tube in her ear.it has been in almost 2 years and if it doesn’t come out on it’s own by febuary,then they will have to remove it. before she had them put in,she had ear infections every other month.

going to lay down for a while now…still a little queazy and super hungry.(too afraid to eat anything).

 we have gotton some much needed rest and feel revived.(well sort of)

jonathan is much better but sienna and mark seem to have some stomach bug.( not puky)

i am fine so far and so are laura and carter. i hope that if i do end up with something,mark will take some time off of work. he has a massive amount of family sick leave,and i have been waiting for a time to dip into it.

not much happening today,it’s one of those days where i am just waiting for bed. i really, REALLY need to get out soon.i am suffering from a sever case of cabin fever.it sometimes seems like everyday is the same day and i actually lose track of what day it actually is!

oh how i can’t wait for spring! i am so anxious about starting a garden this year.i look forward to having the warm sun on my back as i am weeding,with the kids playing in the yard. we are getting 2 goats this spring,and we hope to breed them and have goats milk.our neighbor down the road has about 40 of them and saved us 2. mark is planning on making our garage into a little barn(it’s really too small for a car,it has a dirt floor) we plan on having chickens and ducks also!

every day that goes by we are closer to spring! YEPEEE!

ok,so i go to bed tonight(last night) and i have all 3 little ones in bed with me. jonathan is on my right, sienna is on my left, and alaina is on me. first jonathan falls asleep,then alaina,then sienna.i was dozing.

an hour goes by and suddenly i hear jonathan cough and i feel something wet all over my side.YUCK! he barfed all over me! thats not the end of it, i jump up and throw a towel in front of him to catch the rest.by this point alaina is screaming from her rude awakening, thank goodness sienna is sound asleep still.ok so i put alaina in the bassinet(one of the rare times she actually gets put in it) while i get jonathan cleaned up and in his bed.(alaina is still screaming but pauses a few times to look at the bears hanging from the mobile.)

so i get the bed cleaned up and change my shirt ( still feel disgusting ) wash my hands,spray lysol all over my mattress,and finally get to alaina who is completely ticked off at me . then the phone rings and it’s mark calling from work.he says he’s not sure he’ll make it up the hills to the house because of the terrible snow storm and asks how my night is going.WONDERFUL! after filling him in on my night, he decides to try to get home. i really hope and pray he makes it home safely.

right now alaina is still awake, and i am washing my bedding,(poured some bleach in also,which i hope it will be ok with the sheet,if not,oh well.(alaina seems to like swaying back and forth on my legs while i type,i hope she falls asleep so i can make my bed.)

poor jonathan has been the only one sick so far this winter.2 weeks after alaina came home from the hospital,he had that horrible fever for almost ten days. then he had it again two weeks after it broke,he has only been better for 2 days,now he’s puking? this is one time i hope i get it,just to be sure that he’ll be ok.(weird i know). we have been to the doctors way too many times with him and finally his doctor wants to do some testing on him to see what is going on. he called it a “periodic fever”. which marks sister actually found out about it first by looking it up. the doctor gave a  prescription to us with a whole bunch of tests that he wants done the next time he has the fever.(they have to be done while he has it.) i am sure he will be fine.

mark lost a nephew when he was 18 months to a very rare genetic disorder called S-CHAD. it causes your body to fight itself off by running high fevers. it’ destroys itself by doing that. it is a very rare disorder and both parents have to have the gene. there has only been 10 cases in the us ever reported and his niece is the only survivor,she was a baby when her brother died and when that happened it actually saved her because they started treatments right away. we do know that jonathan does not have this because he would have been allot sicker allot sooner if he did. (we cannot rule out something genetic though because the causes of periodic fevers are usually genetic and they happen when kids are little and then they outgrow them.)

alright enough babbling.

well i am going to try and get some sleep now,while i wait for mark to make it home safely. alaina has officially conked out on my lap.

I really hope sienna doesn’t get sick. thats all she needs after carter was teaching her how to plug in the vacuum cleaner and she got shocked.her poor finger got it real bad and swelled up horribly.it went down but is bruised all the way to her knuckle.( i really don’t know what carter was thinking.)

  i haven’t posted pictures of me in a while so i thought i would add one from dinner the other night. still i don’t believe i am very photogenic,but i am just not going to care anymore. i will love to look back on them 10 years from now.

Alaina is 8 weeks tomorrow!!

  well it’s good news about time warner.they decided to keep the channels. i guess if they did get rid of them i really wouldn’t mind. i was just really bored that day and couldn’t find anything to complain about.

well i entered jonathan in a cute baby contest, never done anythoing like that before,and really i did it because laura kept begging me to,so if you would like you can go vote for him.(or some others,who are some of the cutest little ones i have seen!) it’s all just for fun.
