  •    What happened to the warm weather??

If I remember correctly last week it was in the 80's...this week? Different story! I think the highest this week has been in the 50's,it's so depressing.More rain the rest of this week starting on wednesday.

Well I can always look back at the pictures I took when it was 80.

I wouldn't let them fill the pool just yet,so they were putting sand in it from the sand box,go figure!

Then Laura decided to make it a habitat (not for Sienna, lol) But for this creature Sienna found.

Yes folks, the first TOAD of the season!

Jonathan carried the poor thing everywhere and I don't think it spent much time in it's habitat.

I spent allot of time admiring my favorite tree! (apple) So I took a picture,Mark has done allot of trim work on it so he can spin around it with the mower with ease, lol.

Soon the kids gravitated toward the dilapidated swing set(and i mean it's on it's last legs) it sits where it got blown 2 summers ago...we just had to unwrap it from the tree and add some more nails and it still works, but we are due for one next spring for sure! ( I already have it picked out!)

    DSCF0746.JPG

Laura spread out a blanket I got the celery and we took some rabbits out for a while and let them hop around the yard.Funny they weren't interested in the celery, they wanted dandelions and clovers! So the kids ended up eating some of the celery!

At least it didn't get wasted!

    DSCF0781.JPG

Alaina was chasing the bunnies trying to stuff the celery in the bunnies mouths!Determined to make them eat it!

it jumped in a hole to escape,i have to tell you when i saw it go down i was worried, but then upon closer inspection i found the hole was an open spot where there used to be a fence post.WHEW.(wouldn't want an angry woodchuck or something to find it in their home!)

Sienna thought she could get it to take the celery, but it hopped along!

We let three rabbits out so if you wonder why the pics look different, well,it's because they are!

Heres the mama Rabbit, and her new babies born 5 days ago.(the babies are 2 days in this picture)

the first day we don't touch them at all,I let Laura pick one up just for the picture on day 2 and that was it. (gotta love the nail polish, she knows i don't like it,but her friend Katelynn and her did their nails together).

Three more bigger babies 5 months old.

    DSCF0802.JPG

I am up to 14 now so I just give them to good homes now, since they are all handled frequently, they are perfect pets!

Alaina discovered the front yard and I couldn't keep her outback for nothing,so i ended up calling it a night with her and let the others stay out a little longer.

    Seeing double????

Nah we really do have two cats that are identical, well almost...I am really the only one that can tell them apart easily.

    DSCF0816.JPG

Thomas in on the left and T2 is on the right...(I think) LOL

    DSCF0817.JPG

Oh yup I was right! Thomas has a spot on his nose!,They were both born from the same mother cat 5 months apart, and both were born without tails.Pretty neat don't you think???

It's funny because Siennas speech Therapist JUST figured out that there were TWO cats. we were in the kitchen and one was on her left and one was on her right, she totally thought there was only one up until now!(she has been coming to our house twice a week for 6 months now!)
