Made it through another week! Today has been one of those off days..just feeling really weird..crampy all over can’t lift my legs to walk up stairs….you know all the good stuff that goes with pregnancy. After visiting my midwife this morning, she thought I should have an ultrasound to confirm position of baby…she couldn’t tell either way but said she thought he was still head down (I know I felt him flip the other night and it was the strangest most painful feeling) Thinking now maybe he WAS breech and maybe he flipped back head down? Just glad he is head down at this point WHEW. While at the ultrasound the tech pointed out his spiky hair ( i didn’t think it was that much, still don’t ) and said his head measured over 37weeks…
but belly and everything else was 36 weeks ..everything looked good ,and when i get the pic back from my husband i will add it.(he took it to work) I must add the baby looks JUST like Jonathans profile.. Having sporadic contractions painful but not regular enough to where I think I should time them…sitting here with my ice water and relaxing.. this morning they were every 3-4 minutes and have since spaced out. With my history this can go on for weeks..

As far as having things ready, I am as ready as I think I can get..have managed to keep up on laundry for the past 3 weeks or so..still on top of it. And pretty much have the basics covered just in case..I love surprises! Wonder when he will make his grand entrance!

Today is the day
So Mark goes back to work today after 8 days off
. It has been like a vacation for me for sure. We had a nice time just enjoying spending time together as a family, we did allot of relaxing and caught up on allot of yard work and preparing for winter.(and the new baby). We went to my parents for a BBQ on the 12th ,it rained but it was still fun! The kids had fun playing in the rain..it was a warm rain and it was still hot and muggy out. (so when you see the pics…tis the reason my kids probably never got sick. I think July and August are my favorite months now because they are the ONLY months when my kids are not sick!
clams…EWWWW (some raw…even ewwwier!)
Nate, Robins Hubby
Holly my older sis, Emelia( Robins oldest) and Nick, Hollys oldest.
Marina,Hollys second oldest and my Mom checking the chicken…
Hollys youngest Ian.
Emelia asking to try a raw clam…EWWWW
double ewww
AND she LOVED them..ewwww
Uncle Jimmys pup.
checking out his toes…yes dogs have toes too!!
Uncle Jimmy and his wife Rachel (something was funny!)
Sienna and Alaina
Alaina probably wondering where all the rain was coming from..lol
I didn’t get a picture of my dad since he was inside cooking…

We went to the lake a few times also which i was surprised to find the docks were still up. They usually take them down the first to second week in August. We were the ONLY ones there! And it was B E A U T I F U L!
The boys spent time playing on the side with a net trying to catch frogs and other critters, while the girls were swimming with Daddy keeping a close eye on them.. We just put arm floats on Alaina because we couldn’t find her tube and she did great with just the arm floats!
Sienna will swim in the deep water now,of course Daddy keeping a CLOSE eye on her!
don’t think they did ever catch anything.
Mark made dinner just about every night he had off (except the nights we went out).
Including VEGETARIAN patties JUST for me from scratch..yum!
AND smothered NON meatballs JUST for me!
I was spoiled.
I am going to miss him..now the baby needs to arrive so he can take off more days! Everything is ready….New seat for the van….check! (our van now seats EIGHT!)
Infant car seat…check!
Baby clothes washed in Dreft and neatly organized and folded….check! (didn’t use dreft in the past and all my babies ended up with excema..severe,so we will see if this works!)
Bassinet completely put back together after a good washing and sitting next to my bed…check!(washed in dreft also)
Hospital bag packed…check!
Now working on packing suitcases for kids, while I am in the hospital…
Also working on killing these flies that are currently buzzing around my head GRRRR.
Baby bag packed….check!
School is starting on the 8th so HOPEFULLY he arrives before then or after, would be sooo much easier to have him before but I don’t want to be in the hospital on Jonathans first day of school! (oh well…I am up for this surprise!)
Really the only thing I need to do now is get the school supplies together, still waiting for Carters list he needs.(Maybe will be in the mail today?) Jonathan needs a backpack and Hmmmm I think thats it! I went to Old Navy and they were having a sale on ALL of the jeans so I snagged a bunch for the boys… they were only 10 bucks a pair! (originally 19.50)
YUP! ready….set….BABY!

Went to the Park
Now my poor feet hurt and are swollen…I am taking it easy from this point on!
Do I not look just thrilled? HUGE more like it…..I feel like a wobbly egg!
the shirt is a medium and I am now in LARGES so of course it looks small on me lol.
Now on to pics of the kids, they had tons of fun…
and then THIS one only because we could not stop laughing at it!! It was SO funny cause Alaina threw herself back and almost hit Laura in the face with her head, it happened so fast!
Yep I did a whole bunch of sitting while there, I cannot wait to become more MOBILE again! I did walk the ENTIRE way around the field to the bleachers where the kids seemed to play longer then on the playground !
